Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in our agency! Volunteers are involved in many areas at CMHA. We hope that there is a volunteer role that interests you and your experience with our organization is fulfilling.

Below is the process following the submission of your application.

Volunteer Application Process

Submit application online.
You will be contacted by the Volunteer & Fundraising Officer to schedule a brief interview to discuss your volunteer goals and the current volunteer opportunities at CMHA.
Upon selection of an available volunteer job, you will be sent a user name and password via e-mail to log-on to the dedicated “Volunteer Section” on our website.
You will be required to take the identified training upon log in. This orientation must be completed prior to beginning your volunteer job/placement.
Once your orientation is complete you will be introduced to your immediate supervisor for more details information on the volunteer role and to ensure there is a fit.
Volunteer supervision is ongoing and volunteer evaluation will be conducted regularly.
There are a variety of volunteer recognitions throughout the year. Specific information will be provided.
