CMHA Programs and Services

Who does CMHA provide service to?

Mental illness is actually very common. More people experienced mental disorders last year than any other illness - more than stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy combined. According to the most recent (1996) statistics available from the District Health Council, there are about 62,000 people having trouble with their mental health in Windsor and Essex County.

CMHA offers a range of services to help virtually all people in our area. We have services for the most seriously mentally ill, we have services for people who are working through some of life's difficulties, and we have educational services that target the public.
