Psycho-Geriatric Urgent Response Program
Program Summary
The Urgent Response program provides timely consultation/assessment and short-term assistance for older adults living in long-term care homes that have serious mental illness and/or behaviour concerns. The program helps individuals avoid unnecessary hospital stays and to assist long-term care staff by providing recommendations & training.

Eligibility
Individuals residing in Windsor-Essex County, over 60 years of age, who have diagnosed mental illness/or behavioural issues that are living in a long-term care setting or rest home.
How To Access The Service
Referrals come directly from the Long Term Care Homes to (519) 255-7440.
Collaborative Relationship
In partnership with Windsor Regional Hospital and identified long-term care homes.

Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care
Service Hours
The regular business hours are 8:30 to 4:30 at the agency, Monday to Friday. Services are available until 8:00 pm, Monday to Thursday by appointment.
