Early Intervention
Program Summary
The Early Psychosis and Intervention Program provides early identification, assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing first-episode psychosis. The focus is on minimizing the disruption to a young person’s functioning and psycho social development and to assist them in maintaining or returning to educational, vocational and social activities. Support and education is provided to both the individuals who experience psychosis and for their families and to enhance recovery for first episode psychosis. This is a joint program with Windsor Regional Hospital.

Eligibility
Individuals between the ages of 14 and 35 residing in Windsor-Essex County who are experiencing early psychosis. and who have not received previous treatment for psychosis.

Service Hours
The regular business hours are 8:30 to 4:30 at the agency, Monday to Friday. Services are available until 8:00 pm Monday to Thursday by appointment.
