The Community Health Centre offers primary care services for the health needs of individuals and families  The centre operates under the shared care model. Shared care is a model of practice where the family doctor plays a central role in the delivery of mental health care.  It is now more often referred to as Collaborative Care: a process of collaboration between family doctors and the shared care clinical team of mental health professionals, to allow for the responsibility of holistic patient care to be allocated according to the treatment needs of the patient at varying times in the course of an identified mental health problem.
